Founded in 1898 as a gasworks, nvb GmbH has developed over the decades into a modern and versatile municipal energy supplier. Today, the Lower Saxony company supplies the county of Bentheim and neighboring regions with environmentally friendly energy, heat and drinking water. The new building has a modern customer center, offices for over 40 employees, and meeting and conference rooms.

The Lindner Group, in collaboration with LEX Beschläge und Baubedarf, made a significant contribution to creating a pleasant working environment with optimal acoustic conditions in the new nvb customer center at Gildkamp. The customer center on the ground floor is divided in such a way that there are both open areas for quickly dealing with customer requests and places to retreat for discreet consultations that require more peace and quiet. To ensure that conversations in the open areas are not disturbed by noise, the Lindner MUTE+® board S40-B acoustic baffles were installed here as additional sound insulation. These were designed as vertically suspended acoustic elements in three different shades of grey and heights, creating a wave-like structure when viewed from the front. With their variety of colours and textures, as well as their good sound absorption, the MUTE+® board S40-B ceiling absorbers make a significant contribution to creating a positive room atmosphere.
