New DACHSER Network Campus | Kempten
70,000 linear meters of MUTE+® board S40-B acoustic baffles as the core of room acoustics
Project description
With the DACHSER Network Campus, the logistics company is expanding its headquarters in Kempten in the Allgäu region with pioneering new buildings that redefine working, learning, and interaction. On a gross floor area of approximately 33,000 m², spread across two four-story buildings connected by a central corridor, there are office spaces, seminar and conference rooms, and a cafeteria. The campus offers the opportunity to create modern, flexible, and future-proof workplaces, thus securing the foundation for further growth and positioning the company as one of the largest and most attractive employers in the region.
Architecture and interior design from a single source
The Lindner Group supported the new building project with a comprehensive service package. Both architectural requirements and functional aspects were central to the project. From the office areas and the east wing to the ground floor and stairwells, a unified and high-quality fit-out concept was implemented, consistently realising the vision of openness, flexibility, and well-being.
Room acoustics played a particularly important role in the open, communication-oriented work environment. Effective acoustic optimisation was achieved with a total of approximately 70,000 linear meters of Lindner MUTE+® board S40-B acoustic baffles. The absorbers ensure that both focused work and spontaneous encounters and exchanges are possible.
Flexible flooring systems for modern working environments
Various raised and hollow floor systems were used for the interior construction, combining high stability, flexibility, and comfort. The FLOOR and more®, FLOOR and more® comfort, NORTEC, and NORTEC acoustic systems ensure effective integration of technical infrastructure and acoustic optimization of the rooms. FLOOR and more® comfort also offers an integrated heating and cooling system that efficiently regulates the indoor climate and saves energy. All systems are considered ecologically sound, durable, and allow for individual design options through various surface coverings.
Transparent spatial organization
With Lindner Life Pure 620 glass partitions, bright, light-filled rooms were created that promote teamwork while still offering private spaces for confidential conversations. The systems integrate seamlessly into the modern architecture and underscore the prestigious character of the new building. In addition to the system solutions for ceilings, floors, and room partitioning, Lindner was responsible for other interior finishing work. This included interior wooden doors, tiling, drywall partitions made of gypsum board, and extensive painting. This resulted in a cohesive and harmonious spatial concepts
