Project Description

In Bremerhaven, three new schools and two sports halls were built in just four years, providing capacity for around 1,750 pupils. The "3 Schools Bremerhaven" IPA project combines high-quality architecture, modern educational concepts, and digital construction processes.

The cluster schools are designed as flexible learning landscapes: spacious classrooms, open learning areas, and music and creative rooms support diverse forms of learning. Two new sports halls complement the offering and create space for exercise and community activities.

IPA Method, Digital Planning – and Modern Acoustics with MUTE+®

Reliable on-time was achieved through Integrated Project Delivery (IPD): All partners worked together from an early stage, sharing responsibility as well as opportunities and risks – which reduced interfaces, conflicting objectives, and cost risks.

For planning and coordination, Lindner used BIM with a shared 3D model. This enabled clashes to be identified early, coordination to be accelerated, and decisions to be made more quickly. Lean methods and the digital tool Metronom made processes transparent and enabled timely corrective action in case of deviations.

Interior Design

Here, Lindner focused on flexible, functional, and aesthetically high-quality solutions. LMD-E 200 hook-on ceilings, as well as MUTE+® ceiling absorbers and MUTE+® baffle ceilings made of polyester, were used in classrooms, open learning areas, and corridors. These ceiling solutions not only improve acoustics but also create a modern, appealing room design and are 100% recyclable.
