1. General Information on the Collection of Personal Data
Protecting your personal data is particularly important to Lindner SE ("Lindner"). This Privacy Policy describes how Lindner ("we", "us", and "our") uses and protects personal data collected via https://www.muteplus-schallabsorber.de/ (the "Lindner Website").
Personal data is any data that can be related to you personally, such as your salutation, name, address, email address, IP address, etc. We only collect and process your personal data in accordance with the provisions of the EU General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR") and other provisions of European and applicable national data protection law.
Personal data is only collected and used after you have consented to it or if the processing of the data is permitted by legal provisions. The following provisions inform you about the type, scope, and purpose of the collection and processing of your personal data.
Should we use commissioned service providers for individual functions of our offering or services, or use your data for advertising or analysis purposes, we will also inform you in detail about the respective processes below. Here, we will also inform you about the defined criteria and the storage period. We will also inform you about your rights regarding each data processing operation.
This Privacy Policy refers exclusively to our shop website. Should you be redirected to third-party websites via links from our shop website, please inform yourself there about how your data is handled.
2. Contact information for the controller and the data protection officer
The controller responsible for data protection within the meaning of the GDPR and all other applicable EU data protection provisions ("Controller") is Lindner. If you have any questions, suggestions or criticisms regarding the data protection of our website, please contact:
Lindner SE
Bahnhofstraße 29

Email: info@Lindner-Group.com
Any data subject may at any time contact our Data Protection Officer directly with any questions or suggestions regarding data protection. You can reach them at the address given above and as follows:
3. Explanations of the Legal Basis and Storage Period
3.1. Legal bases for the processing of personal data
Insofar as we obtain your consent for the processing of personal data, Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR is the legal basis for the processing of personal data. You can withdraw any consent with effect for the future.
When processing personal data that is necessary for the performance of a contract with you or your company, Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR is the relevant legal basis. This also applies to processing operations that become relevant before the contract is concluded.
Insofar as processing of your personal data is necessary to fulfil one of our legal obligations, Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR serves as the legal basis.
If processing is necessary to protect a legitimate interest of our company or a third party, and your interests, fundamental rights and freedoms do not override our legitimate interest, then Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR serves as the legal basis for processing.
3.2. Storage period and deletion of data
The personal data collected, processed, and stored by us is generally only stored for as long as the specific purpose of storage requires. If the purpose of storage ceases to apply, your data will be deleted or its processing will be restricted.
In addition, European regulations, applicable national laws, or other provisions may require longer storage of the data processed by us. If these storage periods expire, we will delete your data or restrict its processing.
4. Your Rights
Insofar as we process personal data concerning you, you are a "data subject" within the meaning of the GDPR. As a data subject, you have the following rights vis-à-vis Lindner:
4.1. Right to information regarding processing:
You can request information from us at any time, within the scope of legal provisions, as to whether personal data concerning you is being processed by us. If this is the case, you have the right to request information about the scope of data processing (cf. Art. 15 GDPR).
4.2. Right to rectification
You have a right to rectification and/or completion of your data vis-à-vis Lindner if the processed personal data concerning you is inaccurate or incomplete (cf. Art. 16 GDPR).
4.3. Right to restriction of processing
If the conditions for this are met, you may request the restriction of the processing of your personal data (cf. Art. 18 GDPR).
4.4. Right to erasure
You can demand from Lindner that the personal data concerning you be erased without undue delay if the conditions for this are met. The right to erasure does not exist insofar as the processing is necessary (cf. Art. 17 GDPR).
4.5. Right to notification
The controller shall communicate any rectification or erasure of personal data or restriction of processing to each recipient to whom the personal data has been disclosed, unless this proves impossible or involves disproportionate effort. The controller shall inform the data subject about those recipients if the data subject requests it (cf. Art. 19 GDPR).
4.6. Right to data portability
You have the right to receive the personal data concerning you, which you have provided to Lindner, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format. You also have the right to transmit this data to another company without hindrance from Lindner, to which the personal data was provided, if the conditions for this are met (cf. Art. 20 GDPR).
4.7. Right to object
You have the right to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, at any time to processing of personal data concerning you which is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (cf. Art. 21(1) GDPR). The consequence of the objection is that Lindner will no longer process the personal data concerning you, unless Lindner demonstrates compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms or for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims.
If personal data concerning you is processed for direct marketing purposes, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of personal data concerning you for the purpose of such marketing (cf. Art. 21(2) GDPR).
Please address your objection to us or our data protection officer (Section 2 of this declaration).
4.8. Right to withdraw data protection consent
If you have given consent under data protection law, you can withdraw it at any time (cf. Art. 7 GDPR). The withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
4.9. Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
Without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your habitual residence, place of work or place of the alleged infringement, if you consider that the processing of personal data relating to you infringes the GDPR (cf. Art. 77 GDPR).
5. Visiting the Lindner website & Lindner online shop and creation of log files
Each time you access our Lindner website, our system automatically collects data and information from your computer system. The following data, in particular, is collected:
- Information about your browser type;
- Information about your operating system;
- Information about your internet service provider;
- Your IP address;
- Date and time of your visit to our site;
- Information about the website from which your system accessed our website;
- Information about the website accessed by your system via our website.
The aforementioned data collected by us about you is stored in the log files of our system. As a matter of principle, this data is not stored together with other personal data.
The legal basis for the temporary storage of data and log files is Art. 6 para. 1 f) GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in collecting and temporarily storing the aforementioned data, as the temporary storage of the IP address by the system is necessary to enable the delivery of the website to your computer.
Storage in log files occurs to ensure the functionality of the website. In addition, this data serves to optimize our website and to ensure the security of our information technology systems. Your log files are not analyzed for marketing purposes. An exception to this is the information we collect about your browser settings. This also includes checking the language setting in your browser to be able to display the corresponding language version of the Lindner website.
The data will be deleted or anonymized so that it can no longer be assigned to you as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose mentioned here.
6. Order / Online Shop Login
6.1. Processing by Lindner
To place your first order on the Lindner website, you can log in to the Lindner website and create a customer account. You have the choice between creating a customer account or simply entering your data once for the current order. In both processes, we collect and store the data you provide during registration.
After you have entered your data into the form, Lindner will create a user account for you, if you wish. We use, store, and process this data as it is necessary for the establishment, content design, or amendment of the contractual relationship between you and Lindner, as well as for the use and billing of the related services.
The legal bases for the aforementioned data processing on the Lindner website are Art. 6 Para. 1 b) and f) GDPR. We will delete your data once it is no longer required for the stated purpose and no contractual or statutory retention periods exist. In the case of concluding a contract, this is the case after 10 years at the latest. However, you can delete your customer account at any time.
6.2. Payment Service Providers
Currently, only purchase on account is possible. No payment service providers are integrated. You will receive the invoice by email from our customer service.
7. Customer Satisfaction Survey
Following your purchase on the Lindner Shop website, we would like to enquire whether you are satisfied with Lindner's service and with the product you purchased. If you agree to receive such an email, the data collected and stored when you registered for the customer satisfaction survey will be processed. We need your email address to send you the email and to identify and verify your consent.
For registration for our customer satisfaction survey, we use the so-called double opt-in procedure. This means that after your registration, we will send an email to the email address you provided, in which we ask you to confirm that you wish to participate in the customer satisfaction survey. If you do not confirm your registration within 24 hours, your data will be automatically deleted after one month. After your confirmation, we store your email address and the other details for the purpose of the customer satisfaction survey. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 a) GDPR.
Furthermore, we store the IP address you used in each case and the times of your registrations and confirmation. The purpose of the procedure is to be able to prove your registration and, if necessary, to clarify any possible misuse of your personal data. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 f) GDPR.
We will delete your data as soon as you have received the email for the customer satisfaction survey or the possible survey process has ended. You can object to receiving emails from Lindner at any time by revoking your consent with effect for the future. You can send an email to datenschutzbeauftragter@Lindner-Group.com or a message to the controller named in section 2 of this privacy policy.

The legal basis for processing is Art. 6 para. 1 b) and f) GDPR, as contacting us may involve initiating a contract. However, Lindner also has a legitimate interest in processing your data in order to respond to you. The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose for which it was collected and there are no legal or contractual archiving obligations preventing its deletion. The conversation is concluded when it can be inferred from the circumstances that the matter in question has been definitively resolved.
At the time you send your message, your IP address, as well as the date and time of your contact, will also be stored. These other personal data processed during the sending process serve to prevent misuse of the email and to ensure the security of our information technology systems. The personal data additionally collected during the sending process will be deleted after a period of seven days at the latest. The data will be used exclusively for processing the conversation. The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 b) or f) GDPR.

The processing of personal data from the input mask of our contact form serves us - in addition to the purposes mentioned above - solely for processing your request, which is in our interest. This may involve, for example, initiating a contract.
At the time your message is sent, your IP address, as well as the date and time of your contact, will be stored. These other personal data processed during the sending process serve to prevent misuse of the contact form and to ensure the security of our information technology systems.
